Safety Inspection Standard

1. The crane hook block used for manual driven lifting mechanism is tested with 1.5 times of rated load as inspection load. 2. The crane hook block for power driven lifting mechanism is tested with 2 times of rated load as inspection load. 3. After unloading the inspection load, the hook shall not have any obvious defects and deformation, and the increase of opening shall not exceed 0.25% of the original size. 4. The qualified hook shall be marked in the low stress area of the hook, including rated lifting capacity, factory mark or factory name, inspection mark, production number, etc.

Routine Maintenance

  The hook meets the requirements of hook technical conditions and Safety specifications, and has quality certificate.

  Load test shall be carried out on the new hook, and the opening of hook mouth measured shall not exceed 0.25% of the original opening.

  During use, the hook should be checked for cracks, severe deformation, corrosion and wear.

  The hook shall be equipped with a locking device to prevent accidental unhooking.
• 5
  If the hook is defective, it should be replaced in time.
